What are these hundreds of FPS titles, please let me know. Sure as hell isn't majority of the new FPS games because they are all mutliplat except say STALKER and Crysis. No reason to get into a debate about mods and k/m vs controller btw, there is nothing really you can educate majority of SW on.

I think that most people ( not all, just alot) who say they hate halo only just went into multiplayer, did like 2 rounds of just ordinary slayer, and went, MEh this is so generic and boring!! i highly doubt any of them got a bunch of friends together, did some crazy custom games and explored all of its multiplayer modes and options

You have to try it now to be a fan of it? I'm not a fan of romantic films but I'll be damned if I'm going to go watch everyone of them just so i can say that.

I enjoy halo... It's no halflife or TF2 but it's still fun. Actually now that I think about it almost all of my hermit friends like halo. They just don't like it as much as other FPSs.

I've enjoyed the campaigns of each, however dislike the multiplayer.

Me 2. Halo series > 85-90% of modern shooters for any system.

I love when people say the PC has 128928 better shooters and never mention any. Single player I'd give to Deus EX, Half Life, and HL. Ok so thats 3. Wheres the rest?

Co-Op and or and online? Many people like TF2, and CS. Ok 2. Where's the rest?????? Unreal 2k4? Ok 3. BF2. Ok 4. Even if all they are all "better" then Halo, that's only 8 games depending on single or multiplayer. In all the years of FPS gaming, being number 9 or 10 is still pretty damn good. Not to mention many people like it better then games I listed.

I do believe that technically you can argue there are "better" shooters, especially for PC. That doesn't make the Halo games "trash" or not worth playing IMO.
