You could get a better online with a blu ray drive on PC. But then you wouldn't get all the great PS360 games

I think that idea is lame. Creativity and competitiveness goes out the window.

Having multiple companies produce consoles is better for the gamer.

But they already share most of their best games. :P

No, seriously though, competition is good for the industry.

Hell no! Do you understand the concept of competition.

Eg. PS360 released... price tag £800, cost of a game £100

Nah, ild rather just buy a...... oh wait.... damn..... maybe a Wii!?

Well, it's already happend, just look at how many times the Wii got ganged up on. It almost seem like the lemmings and the cows are in this together.

nah, i rather like this Sony MS competition. Its benefiting everyone and especially me a 360 owner. Ms annoucned the NXE after Sony announced Home, the 360 might not even have gotten the update without the pure push of not letting Sony out shine them.

See, people say yes, forgetting about the reprocussions of having a single console on the market.

The monopoly would be intense. Considering Nintendo continues to stray further off the beaten path, and more into the land of gumdrop hills and cotton candy unicorns, Sonysoft (or Microny) would mean an $800 system that charges $10 a month for its online, and $100 per game, as well as forcing you to buy a ton of pereferals if you want to play games in HD, with Wifi, and between the hours of 8 am and 10 pm EST, monday through friday, or 4 am to 11 PM saturday and sunday.

Also don't forget the $5 "rainy day" pack that will allow you to play your games on a rainy day, when otherwise your consoles built-in weather system would disalow video game playing.

Basically what I'm getting at is, no competition = very bad.

Nintendo (current) != competition.

Give me a PCWii, and I would be a happy one console gamer. I get all the deep PC and niche Wii games I want, without all the console trash put out on the PS3/360.
