Maybe they already have it, but if so, it's much harder to find. What the feature I'm talking about is the ability to see who's online and communicate with them easily from a pc to their 360. I just checked if some of my friends were on my friends list, sent them a message asking if they wanted to play, found out we really want1 more person for the game, went to bungie.net, asked someone to play (odst), clicked on his linked gamertag, sent friend request and game invite, and now I'm off to play ODST. Jees, so seemless.

Yeah, PSN could definitely use something like that. On the other side, I wish Microsoft would allow USB drives to be used for saving games.

That seems like an useless feature to me, I only care about who's online when my Ps3 is on and I log in

And I don't. See, I have friends. The point I'm doing was that I wanted to play ODST with my, you know, friends. It's like calling a friend to see if he's in town to go to the movies. Yes, you could go yourself and ask if he wants to tag along, but much of the time it's more about going together.

And sometimes, if I see my brother is online, even if I don't necessarily care about playing, I'll log on just to essentially chat with him, of course while play ing. Lots of this is more about social interaction than the actual games at times.

It actually is pretty nice. If you're here postin crap you can click over to see if your friend is playing Killzone 2 MP before you jump on.

Adding on to the interwebzz part, can you check out all the new marketplace stuff on your PC, and set it so as soon as you turn your xbox on, it auto DL's? Or set your xbox to auto finsih DLing and auto shut off, after you turn it off?

Yes, although that's a bit more useless. You have to turn it on so navigating the menus isn't exactly hard. Having it finishing downloading is something I guess I just take for granted and expect.

I dont really care, Id much rather have Cross game chat before Christmas, that is the only feaure PSN needs to be the most complete online service. PSN Features + Full version of Playstation Home in 2010. Needless to say further

How about parties? Those are fun as well. I think PSN, in general, needs to learn to be more seamless and interconnected.

And also, HOME sucks. It doesn't contribute to anything. Going through that makes everything less convenient and seamless really. Instread of selecting from a menu and pressing a button, walk to the screen and click on it. Just no.

I am not sure about auto downloading but yeah if you want, turn on your xbox 360 to start downloading and then turn it off but it goes to standby where it finishes downloading and then automatically shuts off

I do this too. A lot. I'll check from my computer to see if anyone's playing anything, send messages if they are and to see if they're up for a game. I'll also get notes once in a while from people saying when they want to put together a match, and it's something sorely missing from PSN and one of the reasons it feels so sterile in comparison.

heck, the 360 copied the wii and the ps3 dashboards to make the current one.
