I really hope the co-op is as good as the reviewers say so I don't feel completely disappointed with the game but as far as the SP and new CoD gameplay goes Insomiac made some poor choices.

I think Valve is the greatest 3rd party developer.

I think Nintendo is the greatest 1st party developer.

I think that Gears of War and Resistance are equally useless and have added nothing to the gaming universe.

I think that video game stories (most all of them) are incredibly simplistic and useless. I think it will take YEARS before a video game story can come close to matching a really good novel.

I think that the PC is the ultamite gaming platform.

I think the Wii is the first step to a separation between consoels and the PC in years, and I believe this separation should be supported.

I think Super Mario Galaxy is the best game this generation but I also think that MGS4 might just beat it when I buy a PS3.

I think the Xbox 360 is the best gaming console so far this generation, but I also believe that the Wii will make a surprise catch-up.

I think the PSP is a completely useless handheld because it is chasing the consoles, while the consoles are chasing the PC. It is just useless!

I think the PS3 is the most powerful console this generation despite solid proof.

I think Blu Ray is too expensive to consider.

On-Topic: I really hate Sony because of my PS3 because they won't fix my PS3 for free :( I hate Gears of War 2's long-waiting matchmaking. I honestly find Halo 3's single player boring and mediocre, but is too proud to say it. But I still love Halo 3 for it's multiplayer. I hate defending consoles because I fear that my statements might put me in a bind. I love my 360 with a passion and I haven't played my PS3 for...how many days(I can still play games that I downloaded). I fear that SO4 will flop. And I dispise Mistwalker for cancelling CryOn.

Gears 2 online is freaking mess. Chainsaw is the cheapest weapon in the freaking world. Anmiation dont happen when they should.Lag makes alot of BS moments happen and it takes forever to get into a dam game. I do admit amoung that mess there is some fun to be had,but its still a mess.finalfantasy94

Changing strategy doesint make the game any less of a mess. I know how the game works. Its not like get creamed all the time and having the chainsaw and you shooting at them and no animation happens to stop them is just stupid. Gears 1 was all shotguns and blind fire and now they nerfed the shotgun and basically made the lancer the new annoyance. Great job epic. Also when you hit someon whose running there should be a animation,but insted epic wasint to smart to add one. Again there are times when a animation should happen and it doesint. Which messes up the whole experiance and kills the mood.
