SCEA's lack of support for the Vita is eye opening.

EDIT:Some of the games listed here in the EU list run on the PS Vita in the US as well (barring some notable exceptions like Crash Bandicoot, apparently), assuming you transfer them from your PS3 to the Vita via Content Manager. It's not perfect, it's inconvenient, but it works, and at least this way you can experience Metal gear Solid on dat OLED screen.

Other stuff the Vita added

• Moving around the menu and everywhere else in the system using the buttons
• Video app you can now fully control it with the buttons, the whole movie app layout has been changed, much clearer and videos now u have the option to repeate a video
• Web browser been fully updated, you can view pags using the rear touch pad and can easily go to the top of the page
• Notifications, you can pretty much turn them all off
• closing apps with the cicle button by holding it ( very helpful )
• Videos got their thumbnail now ( instead of looking blank like before )
• Music app been fully changed, everything looks cleaner and now every song get its own catagory, folders option been added
• Photo app, also been changed and updated, you have differnt folders for evertything from recently added to a folder for all ingame screenshots u took ( unlike before when everything was together ) and at the same time u get a folder where everything is put together.. very neat change
• PSN messages app also been updated, now at the top you see a section that ask you to directly send a message without having to change to a differnt app
• Friend notification icon is now much larger and the same time smaller than it used to be ( now better since before it used to just pop up middle of the game )
• They added the option to make the Vita a PS3 controller for some games ( Cross controller )
• PSP games app now dosent have the update icon which was annoying before
• Maps app very easy to do searches now
• Near app now fully updated, new look looks like a book
• The whole menu look.. clean

surprising statement from a jrpg fan. final fantasy, wild arms, xenogears, grandia, vagrant story... some of the best jrpgs are ps1.
