A little complaint about Splinter Cell - and voice acting in general..

I havent played a Splinter Cell game since the last one for PS2, but I was just watching the first 20 minutes of gameplay video and realized that Sam's voice actor's voice doesn't fit his character at all. I'm not sure if it's always been the same guy, but I can't stand his voice. It isn't enough to stop me from buying this game, but just an annoyance. Anyone else feel this way, or have any other examples of voices that don't match the character?

You're right... Even though Michael Ironside has a cool voice, it just doesn't match I think. For some reason I didn't get this feeling last gen when I played SC games. Maybe it's the next-gen transition in character design? Hmm...Game looks sick though :).

he's voiced by michael ironside. u may have seen him in terminator salvation.

So google can only tell you the color of the actors skin, but not if it's the same actor across all the games? Amazing.

Same voice actor used in all Splinter Cell games. Sounds fine to me...

I felt the same way when I first played Chaos Theory. Seems way to gruff a voice for someone who looks like Sam.
