A message for PS3 launch owners-

Flashback to 2006: "Man I can't wait to get the PS3, it'll be the king of RPGs, have Metal Gear, GTA, Devil May Cry, Tekken, Virtua Fighter exclusive, not to mention GT5 completely owning every other racing sim out there. Sure it's $600, but Blu Ray players will stay expensive for a long time, and I won't regret my purchase. I know it might not have backward compatibility like every other console, but 40 GB! Multiplats will look better as well. "

Back to the present: "Forget about the previous THREE YEARS, the time is now! Those exclusives that took three years to make are finally overshadowing the 360's! I realize Halo:ODST will completely eclipse every PS3 exclusive's sales that took THREE YEARS to produce, but SALES DON'T MATTER. And even though multiplats STILL look better on 360, the 360 is maxed out! Yeah, so it's only a MATTER OF TIME before we've caught up, right? Right? *Goes to system wars to bash 360 online service fees*

Launch PS3s had Backwards Capabilities, which I have. I still have God of War III, and its just plain fact that the PS3 have better 1st and 2nd Party games than Microsoft will ever have!

I concur I haven't found inFamous, MGS4, Uncharted, Warhawk, R&: TOD, Heavenly Sword, and etc. fun. I should've brought a Xbox 360 and have it fail on me like everybody else.

and my backwards compatible PS3 to play old PS2 games sucks for me.

I don't see why so many 360 fanboys are claiming superiority due to the amount of exclusives that went multiplatform. It's not because Microsoft gave them money or because businesses are "greedy" (they're supposed to be), but because it was a necessary move on the part of the developers due to soaring development costs. The way I see it, I'm glad some games went multiplat because it helps developers earn more money, which will lead them to create more games.

I've had a PS3 since launch since I got it as a gift and sure I didn't use it pretty much the first year except for movies but now it's the central piece of my livingroom. On the other hand if I had gotten an 360 at launch it probably would have been dead and buried in RROD by now and out of warranty so no I'm happy I got the TREY. =)

It's a SW specific term your actions/words reflect what you really are.

Actually, now most multplats look identical on both consoles. The ones that look worse on PS3, well you have the devs to thank for that.

I've never regreted my purchase on my launch PS3, it has tons of value and I'm sure many others feel the same way. Nice try though. ;)
