A new Fire Emblem announced for DS

Oooh, that's cool! First DS game was okay, hopefully this one will be great.

They brought back marth, now bring back ike!

Any kind of new Fire Emblem is good news. Hopefully they'll have somethingat E3.

If I remember correctly, this may be the second book from the FE1 remake on the Super Famicom. Bascally, its a sequel to FE 1 and occurs a few years after FE1

Since Shadow Dragon is a remake of FE1, it would make sense that they would remake FE3

I was hoping they would remake this after I finished Shadow Dragon, so this is good news. Now, if only they would remake FE4 on the DS.

FE is easily one of my favorite series of all time, but i'm kinda disappointed that it's another remake.. I've played 7-10 AT LEAST 5 times each, but I only played through SD once.. it just wasn't that great imo. the story was barely there and the characters weren't fleshed out at all.. I suppose that's due to it being a remake from the NES and they want to keep it as close to the original as possible, but I felt no incentive to replay it at all.

and I hope they fix the sprites and animations in this one.. GBA Sprites/animations >>>>>>>>> SD Sprites/animations

So the games gonna include both Shadow Dragon and Mystery of the Emblem like original Super Nintendo version did?

Eh, I kinda agree with it. I would have scored it a bit higher to a 7.0, but I wasn't really impressed with RD.

Finally a new FE. Can't wait.

Hmmm... No Gaiden remake? Well at least the 3rd game is better than the first game and a better plot as well. Plus the story will leads to Seisen no Kaifu.
