damn....they're going all out with the aiming options here.
ButI gotta say in terms of control....MP3 is going to be a tough act to follow
looks great except i hate that huge RELOAD warning, something smaller would suffice.

I think they said that was only in the Arcade mode or something.
not a big MOH fan but that looks like a really promising preview. the bit about the on rail shooter being better than REUC has made me reconsider my attention priorities....for now REUC has left the radar. good to see that EA seem to be putting in a bit of effort for this one.
kinda off topic but i have to hand it to EA. usually there bashed for making crap and boring games or just rubbish rehashes (and with good reason in fairness). but when it comes to wii....there definately one of the better 3rd party publishers. they havent done anything really spectacular and they have dropped the ball a bit in a few areas (tiger woods....seriously how hard can that be to get right?) but they dont have a far cry either yet. if they can nail this and get the MP and SP right then major kudos to them. all that customisation for the controller looks really nice...getting the game exactly how u want it. definately a step in the right direction. other devs.....start taking notes.....this is whats needed for setting up wii controls. lets hope everything clicks in nicely too in terms of the overall package.
Finally!I thought about this a long time ago and it took them this long to implement it?
wow change your dead zone to as small or large as you want.

That is impressive, I would love tinkering with it, but I still think MP3's control scheme was ideal. THe dead zone is well chosen, and you can always hold down z to freeze your view so you can shootanywhere at allwithout pushing the screen. I imagine this game will have that feature as well though.
graphics for this one doesn't look too bad and the aim controls are VERY promising so far.Ontain
Is this game confirmed for online?

yup 32 player online
It's another WW shooter. Too bad. The Wii needs a good sci-fi shooter.... or, something totally original and actually good, for a change. I'm a huge shooter fan, and I must say, I'm getting SICK of single-player shooters nowadays, because there is no variety. They're all blending and meshing.
Well atleast 3rd parties are starting to understand how to use the Wiimote, took them long enough.barabadwan
To be fair, it's harder than mastering a touch screen.
But I'm loving all of these variableoptions MOH is giving us. Even if it's not a good game, other devs can implement these features and improve on them.

yup, up to 32 players in one matchThis will truly test the Wii's online capabilities. WhenReggie first toldus32 person online play, I had to rewind multiple times to check if I was hearing correctly. Has there been announcements of dedicated servers?

yup, up to 32 players in one matchand at 60fps.
oh and this quote makes me feel good about the controls
"The standard configuration is already highly responsive - better than Call of Duty 3 or Vanguard and not far behind Metroid Prime 3. However, after maxing everything out and dropping the dead zone down to its smallest size, we walked away with a look / aim speed several times that of Prime 3 and the ability to a 180-degree flip with the Wii remote in a half second, as opposed to the two and half seconds it takes in Corruption. We're not sure we'd want to play the game like that - you'll make dramatic on-screen movements if you so much as sneeze - but if you've got the finesse to maintain control with that much speed at your fingertips, you have that option, which is a first on Wii."
Whoa.... Great-looking controls! Graphics aren't bad..... 32-player online!!!! Can't resist..... *jumps into car and drives to GameStop* time to preorder!
Finally, this is what I've been waiting for.

You have officially made me hyped for this game...
...thanks for punishing my wallet furthermore.

yup 32 player online
EA canthardly handle 2 players online without a ton of LAG on the Wii, imagine 32.
Well they pulled it off on the PSP so they seem to know what they're doing and it supposed to be running at 60 fps
oh dear lord! Realistic gun control
Shotgun -
"Take, for example, the shotgun. You aim and shoot with the Wii remote and B-trigger, but you reload the weapon after every damaging blast by making a pumping motion with the nunchuk. The maneuver is very satisfying."
Bazooka -
"Then there's the bazooka. This one's a little trickier. Here, you pretend that the Wii remote is the barrel of the huge gun itself, so you flip it upside down (the infrared pointer facing away from you) and rest it on your shoulder, right next to your ear, careful to keep your finger on the B-trigger. Next, you aim at enemies and objects with the nunchuk's analog stick. When you're ready to blow something up, you fire with the B-trigger, and when you do that you'll both hear a bazooka sound from the Wii remote's internal speaker and simultaneously feel the controller rumble. It's pretty well implemented, as goofy as it may read."
Stationary Artillery -
You control a stationary artillery cannon by motioning clockwise or counterclockwise with the nunchuk to steer the giant unit right or left, and snap backward with the Wii remote to fire off massive blasts.
Machine Gun -
To yield a heavy machine gun, you twist both the Wii remote and nunchuk to the left or right, as you'd do in Wii Sports Boxing to dodge offensives, and then you fire with the B-trigger. There's even a melee attack - you thrust forward with both the Wii remote and nunchuk to knock out nearby enemies. (In the online multiplayer mode, you can tap Z button for a secondary, but weaker melee attack, too.)
[EDIT] I forgot Mines!! -
One of our favorite new inclusions was built exclusively for Wii. In two areas during the game's eight levels, you'll need to use a mine detector to walk through a deadly field without blowing yourself up. When you first take on this task, you'll have all the time in the world to figure it out, but on the second occasion you'll need to make it through before a countdown timer runs out. To accomplish this dangerous undertaking, you merely move very slowly through the environment and both listen to a Geiger counter noise (emitted from the internal speaker) and take note of the rumbling controller. If you don't hear or feel anything, you're on the right path. If you do, you'd better take a step back or you'll be blown sky high. The mechanic works extremely well. "
LMAO!! That is AMAZING! :lol::lol:

Then play it online with 31 other people? I mean its not like Wii is BOWLING OVER with online multplayer frag fests. Wii needs this, and they are providing it and putting in some SERIOUS effort. I certainly appreciate that. And the Wii just had a bloody scifi shooter. Hello Metroid.
Well they pulled it off on the PSP so they seem to know what they're doing and it supposed to be running at 60 fps
barabadwan
indeed... but Wii needs something other than a WWII shooter... we need an original IP from a big developer! Hopefully this sells well so that developers start making more good shooters on Wii.
