With people who are powerless against this corrupt organized crime, journalists getting killed and government ineffectual. The hackers anonymous looks to do some major damage to this cartel, that others can't. http://www.chron.com/news/houston-texas/article/Online-hackers-threaten-to-expose-cartel-secrets-2242068.php I have no sympathy for the cartel on the hackers next victims. It's the 21st century and Information is power. I approve. Go hackers.

IDK, but I'd say the only thing worse than the FBI knocking on my door is the Cartel :P.

What kind of world do we live in when a group of Maverick Hackers are the only ones who could damage an organised crime syndicate like this?

If they have this information they should hand it over to the FBI immediately. It just goes to show how self serving Anonymous is.

A terrible one.

With no one else for the oprressed people to turn to, these mavericks maybe the most unlikeliest of allies.

Their next target is Fox News.

Maybe Anonymous should start evaluating what they value the most and used their skills and powers for good instead.like bankrupting some murderous third world dictators, crime syndicates and hate groups.

I used to kind of hate anonymous for being annoying and inneffective at times. Like the whole Sony store sit in that bombed and harrassing some preteen for being annoying.

Honestly though, they are a leaderless organization so I can't really love or hate anonymous. I can just like the dudes who do stuff like this, and hate the sweaty no lifers that use anonymous as an excuse to be jerks and get a following behind them.

But yeah, the cartel is a pretty big issue. I'd say more, but I'm in South America right now so I kind of don't want to get shot. Then again, GTA III taught me that the best way to fight the cartel, is to destroy their drugs and work with the Yakuza. But again, there are no Yakuza down here. But then again, there could be some around here somewhere. But then again, that was a fictional videogame and if I tried any of those tactics I might get killed.

Seriously though, anyone willing to damage child killing, cop killers like that is alright in my book.

they should make a game out of it.

Find a way to take down a criminal enterprise. Not with guns, but with hacking and manipulation, insolvency and doublecrossing their rivals to fight each other.

That would be awesome.
