[QUOTE="dragonfly110"][QUOTE="04dcarraher"]The 360 was pretty much maxed back in 2007 with what it can do. The PS3 is the same way on the gpu side, but the Cell has alot more headroom to grow in things like Ai and realtime physics. But thats it both consoles are using late 2005 early 2006 tech which are really outdated compared to even a low budget gaming pc of today.04dcarraher
er I think that 360 definetly upped there quality of graphics after 2007, just look at the games released in 2008, you g ot Nuts and Bolts, Viva Pinata Trouble IN Paradise, and Gears 2, all 3 of them excellent games that feature superb graphics, genius AI's wonderfull gameplay that is long and offers great replayability and a lot of ontent
Dont make me laugh, have you even read up on what they had to do on GOW 2 to even being able to show the massive amount of enemies on screen? They cut things out lower, texture resolution on certain surfaces and even making thing 2d off in the distance becuase of memory limits. Heck 360 graphics on Fallout 3 equal to a mix of low and medium settings on Pc version. If you think Console graphics are great then you havent seen Pc graphics in person, high resolution textures, far draw distances, no muddy textures, etc. Gears of War on Pc looked 2-4x sharper and better then on 360, after seeing it on pc I couldnt even look at the 360 version the same because how blurry everything was.I wasnt talking about the PC, the thread is about 360 and PS3 having some untapped power, it didnt say a thing about PC, of course PC sports much better graphics then both 360 and PS3, thats obvious.
