Not sure what to make of this one.
Graphically not amazing but it looks like pure immersive sim and thats what we need in era of handholding.
whatever it is. it will really worth it unless they screwed up so badly.
please warren spector, deliver this masterpiece and donot screwed it up. warren spector is a legend in gaming industry as he deliver greatest game of all time.
Not even PC will be able to save this garbage series. they should've let this trash where it belongs.
I won't let it anywhere near my PC so it won't break because of how bad this will be.

This ahem "garbage" series led to System Shock 2 and Bioshock, which are easily some of the best games ever made.
Just more PC trash...
Only pre-alpha and already looking pretty good.
Agreed.
Important to keep the "pre-alpha" part in mind. People should not make any judgements yet.
Not exactly a looker, but I'll still play it for legacy's sake.
Honestly, I don't really care. As long as it looks like it's on something that is 10 years or less old, I'm fine. Doesn't have to be cutting edge.
This looks dope. Legacy of Looking Glass Studios that produced so many legends like Eric Brosius, Teri Brosius, Ramin Djawadi, Paul Neurath and so on, is alive and well. SS 2 is greatest horror game ever made. A masterpiece.

Next time when you enjoy Game of Thrones main theme or soundtrack of 200 million dollar movies like Iron Man, keep in mind System Shock 2 introduced Ramin Djawadi and he was assistant of Eric Brosius in sound department for SS2 and Thief 2. Kiddo.

This is real game. immersive sim with most intellectual level design in history unlike movie games like last of us 2 and death stranding which have cutscene after cutscene.
People discussing graphics but I dont think SS2 and the thief games were notable for graphics rather they made up for lack of graphical power with top notch art design and atmosphere. The Dark engine from my understanding was meant to focus more on sound design and more complex AI. Correct me if I'm wrong.
What ever happened to the remake of System Shock 1?
kickstarter project. restart multiple times.
thankfully this is not kickstarter project.

@crabj: Anyone who thinks Bioshock is better than System Shock 2 is a silly person imo.
System Shock 2 has some serious flaws though. For one the gameplay is very unbalanced as you can get spawn-killed by enemies outside the spawn chamber.
It has not aged well. Bioshock has definitely aged better, though in fairness that's more due to it being a much more recent game in comparison.

I played System Shock 2 and enjoyed it a lot. My only regret was not getting the game at the same time as Half Life 2. With that said, I don't see how someone can be silly for enjoying Bioshock more than System Shock. Bioshock benefits from being a more modern game with better controls. If someone played it first then tried System Shock 2, its easy to understand that position.
@darthbuzzard: I disagree. Bioshock has bigger flaws. Vita chambers are way too common to the point theres almost no consequence for dying and allows you to easily brute force enemies. I rarely had the issue of enemies killing me at the spawn chambers and when I did it was my fault for trying to rush and not killing the enemies surrounding the spawn point.

You can disagree and that is fine but you can't try to argue that someone is silly for saying Bioshock is better than System Shock 2. Your personal preferences doesn't make their opinion on their experience silly.
@Pedro: It was just a bit of banter, and I did say imo. Also this is System wars where childishly and crudely insulting others over their preffered games and systems is how it goes. I thought I was being relatively less nasty with my reply :p
