Funny you should ask that, I was talking to a poster, IronB, and he claimed never to have heard of what you are asking. It was a conpletely new game concept to him, meanwhile this is the 5th thread I've seen on this since talking to him. I am the King of SW, so I might come here a wee bit too much though. :P

You asked between the three consoles, so to answer, you should check the spreadsheet. I think the PS3 is leading, or it's tied, counting MGS4 AAAAE of course.

TC's QUESTION About thePS3, 360, and Wii AAAE's/AAAAE's:

PS3 : 7 (slight edge in an extra as one of them is AAAA)

360 : 7

Wii : 4

Strangely, in straight AAA's, the PS3 has 28, the 360 has 26.

This is notable, as the 360 does have a year headstart with freebies from that year. The Wii and PS3 should in theory never catch up, ever.

This generation, the PS3 is region free, so it's actually as easy as buying it and playing it from any region.

I get what you are saying though, I have friends playing Tales of Vesperia right now, and SO4 comes out Feb.

I have it stored in my Iphone lol.. PS3 and 360 are now tied both having 7 AAAEs.. If Ratchet scores AAAE it will put the PS3 back in the lead

360 Leading With AAAE , ps3 AAAAE , WII AAE , If you want Overall : I say 360 is winning or maybe A close tie with the wii ( i am talking overall ) If u wanna take 2009 : Ps3 4 AAAE (Ratchet and clank COming soon ut i doubt AAA) , 360 2 AAAE (Gta 4liberty city stories is coming soon so I think it ;s an AAAE didn't count it thought )D-RS

Just so you know, you don't disqualify AAAAe's for scoring higher, that would be silly. :P

By your logic, if Forza 3 got a 10, then the consoles would be tied...but since Forza 3 scored WORSE and Forza 3 got 9.5 instead of a 10, the 360 now wins.:|

Actually it did, but that was many years ago.

It would be best for the TC to clearly state that the AAAE's are from GameSpot scores, not from places like Metacritic or Gamerankings.
