About PS Vita's Feb Launch

So i've heard a lot of people giving reasons for not wanting one, high price for memory cards and being able to buy a 3DS and a few games for the same price etc.Some people say they were going to get it but then decided not to because of this.

What i really want to know is, did you ever actually look into any launch deals? The system wont just be getting sold for $250US on its own everywhere.
There will be bundles and deals etc yet no one seems to acknowlage this, which really just says to me that the person in question was never really interested enough to even look for a deal.

Sometimes goods aren't well priced in stores thats why you gotta shop around and look for a deal, stores create bundles and throw in extras to try and get you to buy from them above all others. If you are generally interested i would suggest you actually try hunting for a deal first.

I wouldn't buy one at launch (I'm not buying one at all, personally) anyway.

There's also an alleged 10% failure rate at the moment, so I'd even wait for a hardware revision which could take up to a year, but generally it's better to wait and buy something when all the creases have been ironed out anyway.

And when the library has increased two or threefold.

Never ever ever rely on SW rhetoric for an estimation or even a guaged microcosm of the workings of everyday life.

Will the vita be successful?, no one knows

Will it be cheaper down the line ? Aabsolutely

Is the system worh the price tag? Thats for every individual to decide (some poeple use the veil of not being interested to cover the fact that they cant afford it)

These are tough times, gaming is a expensive pass time, a luxury item like the vita isnt a priority for most (until COD comes out for it)

The best deal I've seen is $300 WiFi Vita with Uncharted, Little Deviants and 4GB from BestBuy Canada. Since I want none of those except the Vita, it's not really a great deal. 32GB Memory card for under $300 total or bust.Eponique

Didn't someone post a thread here about Amazon discounting the price by $20 soon? I don't if that's actually true, but if it is, I'll go for that.

havent looked yet. if i have the cash to drop then i probably will.

I am going to get it after a few years, a design revision, a price drop, and all the jrpg's finnally get released stateside. Until then I don't care about it.
