about the 65nm chip

hello, i just had a question i had got a premium a month or some thing like that its bin great:D i had no reason too 1800 forcall my xbox cuz i had no problems,but does any one know if my does get RROD by any chance will they fix the whole problem and put the 65 chip in, i mean will they say money giveing me the chip or ,paying an emplyee too do what he does? ty

No, they won't swap out chips for you. Your only hope is to get a new one in return that has the chip in it.

You'll have to forgive the sheep, they don't know any better, which explains their rudeness.

Anyways, I am not sure if you'll get a 65nm chip if it you 360 gets a RROD.

Everyone has a common misconception about the RROD, anyways. The RROD means a "general haedware failure", which doesn't always mean it's over heating. It could be a number of things.

The 65nm chips are starting to show up in stores now. If you check out the white sticker on the side of the packaging, and see Lot #0734 or higher, it will have the 65nm chip. You can also check the manufacture dtae, which should be 08/24/07, or later.

Seeing as howthe new chips are hitting the store, I don't see why they wouldn't replace the ones they repair from now on with them.
