I agree that the PS3 took a huge step forward, but you can't judge how well MS did by using GS rankings. Sure, you can brag about GS scores in SW but in the real world GS scores do not determine how well a system is doing.

not everyone has a 360 to run those games either, but if i had to choose between a video card and a 360 i'd probably go for the video card, i made the mistake of going for the 360 and i honestly regret it.. bioshock wasn't worth it, neither was halo 3.. it can never replace my gaming rig

how is ff13 different from the perspective of someone who owns a 360.. does he need to buy a ps3? same for pc gamers who look at a 360

like i said.. you're paying 10$ extra to play games that you then have to shell out more for to play online(and getting inferior specs mind you).. coming from the perspective of a pc gamer, you see the only decent ms release this year is banjo and even that.. nobody will buy a console for it

you're viewing this through the point of MS's pocket profits, which is great for them, but consider looking at this from the angle of incentives and exclusives.. they matter, especially if you already own a ps3 or pc

Don't know why people automatically assume the ps3 won. 360 had 5 (FIVE) 8.5s, a 9, and 3 8s. So you're looking at 9 AAEs for 360, Ps3 had 6 AAE+. Then take a look at the XBLA titles compared to PSN, the HIGHEST psn title was a flipping 8. Again, 360 had 9 AAEs in XBLA. Then there's NXE. How can people say Microsoft didn't take a step forward when you look at things on the whole? You're all lookinag at 3 games (mgs4, lbp r2) and automatically saying you won, nice joke. hopesfall2own

Why don't you look at A games too? Or only you have the power to decide what games should be counted?

Give it up lemmings. The PS3 had a better 2008 than the 360 and that's that.
It's ok though the 360 is still great so there's really no need for all these tears and spins to try to take away the credit the PS3 rightly deserves this year.

I never said the 360 is the winner this year...all I've said is that PS3 sales are stalling. The 360 is not in last place, so if they do sell more consoles this year, what will that mean to you? Do you think that being in last place in total consoles this gen + selling the least ammount of consoles in 08 = the year of that last place console? If you do, then I guess it is the year of the PS3.

The 360 is winning the battle between the PS3 and the 360, that is a fact. Both 07 and 08 are the years of the Wii.
