lol 360 dominating worldwide. seriously 360 is only doing well in the American market not in Europe and definitely not in Japan.

In terms of games, its hard to argue.

I mean lets enter reality for a second, in terms of consoles

360 has 12 AAA's

360 has 12 AAA's that I cannot play on Wii

360 has 6 AAA's that I cannot play on PS3

PS3 has 6 AAA's

PS3 has 6 AAA's I cannot play on Wii

PS3 has 0 AAA's I cannot play on 360

Wii has 3 AAA's

Wii has 2 AAA's I cannot play on PS3

Wii has 3 AAA's I cannot play on 360

The trend continues in AA games although the Wii looks better, rather then doing the same for AA's I figure this is System Wars I am sure many folks have the numbers memorized.

I am tired of hearing the "But next year" or "teh sales" unless you have a time machine or own shares in Microsoft, Sony, or Nintendo that stuff is bunk, as around this time last year all I kept seeing threads about was "Lair: Great Game or Greatest Game" so whats coming means nothing till its here.

Gaming is about GAMES and right now its pretty clear that 360 in terms of games is sitting pretty.

Hmm xbox 360 sells the same number of consoles in 1 year as the ps3 manages with competition from 2 other consoles and with no games. Wii sells more consoles in 1 year than the xbox 260 manages in 2 years.

From what I've seen and figures I've read the xbox 360 is losing badly. Also in 2008the game situation for the ps3 will be changed and a lot of the heavy hitters will be out, I fail to see how anyone can say the xbox 360 is winning.

360 didn't have an amazing launch lineup and it sold what the PS3 sold in one year. But the PS3 had a $200 price drop. That should have made sales skyrocket... but it still sold the same number of system as a console with a mediocre game line-up (talking about 2006). Not just that, but it had a HD movie player built-in and was the cheapest player for that format up until this month. Even with it barely chugged along. Thats not strong. When $200 price drops only bump your sales up to that of your poorest performing competitor... I don't see how thats strong.

In reality though, theWii is winning. It sold in 1 year what it took the 360 to sell in 2 years. Its sales have been increasing the past few months and it didn't even have a major game release or price drop. It sold 14million units based off of Wii play. Imagine what will happen when real games start coming. All the 3rd parties are coming hard next year for the Wii. They admit that they wrote the system off and had an under prepared library for it. It would take a massive increase in PS3 sales and a unprecedented decrease in Wii sales for the two to catch up. Sadly, it will take a massive increase in 360 sales for it to not get left in the dust by the Wii come 2009.

Yeah, Reggie was right when he said that the majority of Halo fans already bought 360's, anyone who tries to deny it and that he is wrong is a fanboy.

SMG, Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3 > everything on the 360 besides Gears of War. Gears is the only thing on the system that gives these games a run for their money. I haven't played Bioshock, so keep that in mind.

Eventually, Wii sales will meet 360 sales in the games department. You have to remember, the Wii is geared towards everyone and everyone doesn't buy a game a month. 360 people tend to be old enough to have a job and that's the obvious reason they move more software. Either way, Nintendo is making money off the hardware, so it's all good.

Nintendo has plenty AAAs, it's quite funny that lemmings claim that they have all these AAA games when really, including the VC, Wii is equal to them in quality. And, at least it's a variety of quality. 360 has no game variety.
