Burnout Paradise is the only one that really sticks out to me. I'm dissappointed with the big, critically acclaimed games all the time, but only because they just weren't AS good as I expected. I always end up enjoying them at least a little.
Burnout Paradise is the only game with such high ratings that I ever thought was just flat out bad.
Oblivion
Burnout Paradise
Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door
Okami
Call of Duty series
Resistence FoM
Virtua Fighter 5 -way to similar to the past games but it sure looks pretty
Burnout Paradise - way to similar to the past games but it sure looks pretty
BioShock (Finished) - Basically, it got a lot of things right, except for gameplay.
Oblivion (Finished) - As an action-adventure, it's good fun, but as an RPG it's awful
Gears of War (Finished) - It's decent, but it's just all meh.
Metal Gear Solid 2 (Finished) Please, don't get me started.
Portal (Finished) - Short. Innovative, but very boring.
Burnout Paradise - Didn't finish, but that's because I was so unimpressed by it I decided to not waste my time.
Planescape Torment - By today's standards it's very dated, and while the story seemed like something really special, I couldn't bare to continue.
Baldur's Gate 2 - I just wasn't having fun.
Aww man this thread is awesome.
- MGS4
- Fallout 3
- Halo 1, 2, and 3

Obvious sarcasm.... Obviously not.[QUOTE="heretrix"]
MGS 2 Hated the camera/controls
MGS 3 Still hated the camera/controls
Assassin's Creed BORING.
Ico BORING.
Ocarina of Time (or any Zelda game after Link to the past) BORING.
Killzone 2 Hated the controls and the FOV is too small.
Far Cry 2 Broken gameplay
Crysis The best looking dull game I have ever seen. Loved Warhead though.
Metroid Prime Too much backtracking. Dumb blond syndrome. Seriously Samus, Do you have to lose your weapons every damn time?
Slambo86
Assassin's Creed (I completed the game but still found it boring.)
Gears of War (I played one level and didn't like the game.)
bioshock, killzone 2 , little big planet.1)MGS2 and 4
2)Lost Odyssey
3)Zelda Windwaker

Oblivion - I really tried to like this game, I really did.
Fable 2 - very glitchy, dumbed down, overhyped game
Assassins Creed - more of tech demo than actual game
Grand Theft Auto 4 - the cars handled horribly, bad framerate, everything felt sluggish and unresponsive
Conker Live and Reloaded - not as funny as it thinks it is, felt unpolished
Dead Rising - Save system and time based missions killed it for me
Mass Effect - horrible framerate, not enough to do outside main quest
Far Cry 2 - to far to drive, no variety in the missions
Splinter Cell Double Agent - felt very last gen, bad story
probably some more just can't think of them right now.
MGS 1,2 and 4 - all terrible IMO specially 2 and 4's MP is a joke.
Gears 1, 2 - Dont see why lemmings bend over backwards for these game really :?
SF4, RE5.
Fallout 3 - Reskined oblivion with guns and crap story.
MGS2
Zelda Windwaker
GTA4
For some reason I didn't play any of those games for more then a week.
MGS2 I beat in like 3 days, which was pretty pathetic IMO. I don't care abotu the dog tags either, so that game was just dead in the water to begin with.
Zelda was ok, but too cartoony.
GTA4 was cool at first, but it feels liek every other GTA game and I got bored of them after San Andraes.
