According to VG Chartz Forza 3 outsold GT5 this week... 180k vs 172k

I know GT5 fans keep screaming sales but with Japan not buying gt5 (16k in sales this week) and Forza 3 beating it despite being a year old can't we just agree GT5 is one of those European trends like Rugby or Fascism. :D

Well I'm living in a small city so its normal to have games out of stock lol but still 2 mils copies on shelves (according to VGchartz) is just too much xD Sony isn't that stupid to overship the game like that.

BTW, why hasn't anyone yet brought up the fact that, being a Platinum title, Forza 3 is currently half the price of GT??? If you were in a position where you had to choose, would you choose the $60 or $30 option??? Considering that, I'd think GT did pretty well.

Also its better to watch and play compared to American Football which i personally sometimes think is rugby for cissies even tho i do love it aswell :P

I recently purchased Forza 3 a few months ago and I was really impressed with the whole package. The graphics, sound, and gameplay are all top notch. It is a substantial improvement over Forza 2, and I wish I would have picked it up earlier. It also is one of the best games that works with the wireless racing wheel. Need for Speed Shift is aweful when you hook up the wireless wheel.

Yeah, yeah, "lolvgchartz", but what if it's true? :lol: Pretty sad, especially considering how much cows have been praising GT5's sales. They suddenly started mattering when a lot of GT5 reviews weren't matching/exceeding the hype, and then especially once the GS review rolled in. It used to be "I play games, not sales", "sales don't matter", etc...

That said, I doubt this report is true, but if it is... lol.

It´s probably not true but i wouldnt be surprised if GT5 helped a bit in Forza3 sales. At least here on sw there have been lots of Forza3 threads since GT5 was released :twisted:
