Never heard of this Laura Parker. Aaron Thomas reviewed all the other Ace Attorney games except the first.

I don't trust this review, simply because it's a review of an Ace Attorney game, but I will be buying this game today or tomorrow.

Anyone who's played the game and wants to weigh in...feel free.

After playing about 3 hour and finished case one and now somewhat in case two. It is standard ace attourney fare. instead of psylocke feature you have the logic feature. it has a focus on investigating areas and but still has the witness statements and then contradictions you point them out they ammend their statements you flush that out eventually you get them in a corner and they confess. charcters are still there. they do quite a few call back to earlier cases. it pretty much boils down to do you like phoenix wright if so then this is just as enjoyable.

Let me also just put out a general question to anyone with comments about the game: did you like Apollo Justice? And how does Investigations compare to it, specifically in the characters and writing?

Like what I read. Another solid entry to the Ace Attorney series.

these Ace Attorney games barley count as games....The only fun parts were when you were actually in the court room pointing out contradictions.

First time 'reading' the review: 8.0 for being too easy!?
First time actually reading the review: The only other problem I've seen in the review being Edgeworth for the beginning and only the beginning of the game doesn't seem to warrant an 8.0 to me. >.> His incredibly well-maintained composure is probably only there (Will get tomorrow) to serve as an introduction to Edgeworth to new players (And I expect many).

Slight disdain towards the review score aside, it sounds like another two (Yes, two) twenty-hour gaming marathons for me. 8)

Objection!

The Ace Attorney/Gyakuten Saiban series is just as much of a game series as any other! The fun never solely came from the courtroom segments either! There's also the interaction with the series' many varied and detailed characters which serve as the real appeal of the series along with it's incredible telling of the history and relations of all the character. One and three in particular threw many twists in the way.
