This game looks absolutely beautiful. The demo was a hell of a lot of fun and I've seen almost zero hype for an exclusive game that's coming out fairly soon.
I really didnt find it that fun. i would rate it a 7, but for a huge fan of the series its probably going to be an 8. if its gets AAA on here it will be like PDZ all over again.
The demo was unimpressive. Ace Combat 4 was the last good one. Koalakommander
I was pretty wowed by the graphics... not to mention the air fights were just intense. The best part about this game though were the "real" enviroments that are used.
After the demo I'd say it's probably a solid AAA. Besides, Ace Combat, although arguably the best console combat flight sim series in existence, is not an AAA series.
second of all the demo was ok imo, i predict an 8.0 - 8.5 at best though...no AAA game here

where did you hear its a timed exclusive? i've heard that but i don't remember it being confirmed and i think we would of heard something by now.
It looks like its getting decent reviews, but wow, the previous games don't look good.
Xbox magazine confirmed that the game was no longer an Xbox360 exclusive some time ago and so did namco I dont know why Gs did not posted an article about it :s, ITS GOING TO BE ALSO ON PS3 YEAAAAAHAWWWW :wink:
I wasn't too interest until I saw the flight stick. But I've never played the series before so I hope you can perform take off's and landing's, I'd like some level of simulation to it if possible ^.^

It's not on the Namco site or the AC6 site. I can only find rumours.

can you find a link though? because everything i see says it's 360 exclusive.
Ace Combat 4 had better physics than 5 (well it was still arcade but the planes felt like they had a little more weight)
I personally liked 5 better than 4...
I know AC isn't about simulation at all but... I hope in 6 the Jets have a more weighty feel to them... Dropping straightdown then pulling up so easily just never felt right.
I don't think its going to be a AAA but as a fan I would love to play it.
It's funny that they had to bring the series to the Xbox to finally get online play. I hope it turns out good since I have been longing for an arcade flight shooter for a while. IL-2 1942 is just getting so old now.
