Well its a PC but built for gaming
maybe more will turn to PC gaming with this

Thats just a pre-built overpriced gaming PC. This is nothing more then a computer company wanting to get into PC gaming like Dell with the XPS line or HP with their Blackbird. Building your own PC will always be significantly cheaper.karasill
QFT. This is fail. In about 6 months this "console" Will be severely outdated as far as PC hardware goes.
[QUOTE="albi321"]To bad Pre-built gaming PCs = Shipment of FAIL.thegoldenpooagreed, its PC gaming for lazy idiots.
You know, to people who don't play games, anybody who sits at a computer desk for hours on end playing games might be considered a lazy idiot, regardless of whether or not they built it themselves. Personally, I don't really think it's fair to call somebody who purchases a pre-built gaming PC a "lazy idiot."
I understand the appeal of gathering components and building your own machine for some, but it's a turn off for others, myself included. PC gaming may be superior to consoles in many ways, but convenience, as far as I can tell, is not one of them.
this doesent help the anti "but PC gaming costs $3000" argument since prices for that start at $4000.
but thats a nice PC. i just got my issue of Custom PC and they got a few dream machine in. the one from scan (called the white shark or something...i havent read it yet) costs £11000 (sterling). it goes without saying that u get nothing but the absolute best mind.

If a person (a member of your "people") isn't playing any games, why would he be looking at buying an Acer gaming computer? Furthermore, why would he be perusing gaming message boards and reading threads ABOUT Acer gaming computers? Your post makes no sense.
I will never own another Acer again. In fact, I would vastly prefer building my own PC, but if I had to buy a pre-built PC, it would be either a Lenovo (laptop), a Dell (desktop) or an Apple (Macbook).SpruceCabooseOh no you don't.

Macs are not bad machines, and Macbooks, while overpriced, are pretty great machines more than capable of running Windows, often better than traditional "PCs".
Not to mention I don't PC game, so the idea that it would be limited in gaming is moot to me.

Thats the thing though, Macs in general are just overpriced. Why pay 20%-40% more on a Mac when you can get a PC equivalent for less? Sure you might like Apple's OS more, etc, but many people just don't like to spend more then what is necessary.. And one last thing, you're missing out on A LOT of great PC games, pitty you don't game on the PC. I used to not game on PC's but once I tried it I was hooked.[QUOTE="albi321"]To bad Pre-built gaming PCs = Shipment of FAIL.SER69Agreed. *looks at Xbox360*
Haha real funny,
anyways, not really a suprise.

Fair enough, if you like spending more money just to say "I have a Mac" then go for it. Doesn't hurt me. Most educated people in the PC realm will cringe though because you're getting ripped but hey, at least they're sexy looking. Please Log In to post.
