yes getting achievements on the 360 is so much better than getting trophies on the ps3. ever since the 360 came out with games with these requirements, i've been playing my games much longer than i anticipated. the ps3 doesn't have this kind of experience, and not enough games have trophies, especially mgs4 and gta iv dammit.

Mass Effect, Gears and PGR all give you 1 gamer picture for certain achievements. And Mass Effect gives you stat bonuses for pretty much all achievements.

I know its not a lot, but at least its something.
And in Halo the achievements unlock other armor permutations for multiplayer.
