Most of their profits are going in that direction. Wii is regaining the market Nintendo lost since before Gamecube (before joining forces with Panasonic.) So Sony is still in the lead lol.

Good for you, but i don't personally wanna play russian roulette with a £300 system hoping that i might be one of the lucky ones that might get a working one. Especially when i can get most of the games (eventually) on my PC.

Apart from Mass Effect though, goddamit i hope that game gets announced for the PC aswell :P

You said $100 difference, so I assumed you were talking about the 360 version thatwillbe$100 less than the core PS3 SKU (i.e. Elite). Is this unreasonable?

O thats easy, its for people, that try to firmware hack there 360, got banned, and then people buy a core, and put there old HD on it.

I didnt know u can get the PGR series, Forza series, Blue Dragon series, Lost odyseesy, GTA4, Halo 3, Cry On, PDZ, Kameo, Saint's Row, Dead Rising, ( let me beathe...*sigh*) Mass Effect, DOA series, Ninja Gaiden series, Enternal Sonata....and taht's just last year and this year,..

I might pick up a Core just for Mass Effect--if it drops to $249 or less. TrueReligion_

I wouldnt unless you got a friend that has bought a 120gb hard drive and they can give you a hard drive. Mass effect may need the hard drive to play the game.

No **** my third 360 got the three red lights today. I don't think I'll even bother with sending it in because they will just send me another defective refurb and at the rate these consoles are breaking I probably won't get it backfor a month. Fixed the problem my ass. I still remember what the guy at customer support said, "There is no need to worry we have addressed and solved the issue for all new and replacement consoles;""only a small percentage of launch consoles were defective."Promises of fixed hardware for the 360 are empty and meaningless when you experience first hand that they have been devised just to stall angry consumers untill the real problem is fixed.

If true 360 wiil be the cheapest nextgen console :), wonder what that will do for christmas. I wonder if the WII will follow suite. Love it when the manufacturers get into a price war.

I know that the numbers are going to get alot larger this christmas. Imagine the sales this christmas, sony has to get it's price down a little more, however any price cut will spur sales.

You analogy sucks. When you play Russian Roulette and you get the unlucky bullet you die. If you are unlucky and your 360 breaks it will get resurrected for 3 years.

Unless, you have a warranty in which case it's replaced free. Oh yea know what, you actually do, a 3 year warranty no less. So let's recap, best games, more games, best graphics, better price, yep 360 is far better than ps3.
