Activision prefers PS4 CoD: Ghosts to the Xbone's CoD: Ghost

There were rumors going back about how the PS4 version was running at 90 FPS unoptimized while the Xbone version was struggling to hold 15 FPS even with several months of optimization. Looks like that's true. What a shame Microsoft crapped out on power.

Oh really? So why is Activision scared to death about showing CoD: Ghosts running on the xbone? This is pretty much confirmation that the PS4 version is superior. Activision is crying that they bet on the wrong horse for next gen. EA is probably begging SONY to forgive them.

We all know that the PS4 is more powerful, but I highly doubt that the PS4's power dwarfs the X1's by that great amount like the rumors are claiming.

PS4 has an architectural advantage. It's using next-gen HSA architecture. Xbone is using outdated architecture. Xbone is outdated day 1.

Also, not only does PS4 have a raw power advantage, it also has a far superior development environment and a more efficient architecture.

The eSRAM is pulling a little over 100 GB/s bandwidth in real life while the GDDR5 RAM is pulling 172 GB/s in real-world performance.

the fact that this topic hasn't been locked yet is crazy to me. there is no linked actual facts from any source that says what the TC is saying. All it says is the footage they are using is from PS4 and from that the TC has come to the conclusion that Activision prefers the PS4 with only a tweet as his only proof.

COD runs on an old engine,maybe is not that ESRAM friendly and just need reworking.

For those flaming TC look at the 7770 frame rate as low as 15 FPS on COD black ops,COD ghost use the same engine.

So getting 15 FPS is not so out of this world,at least until the game is optimize,the xbox one has less usable power than a 7770 no matter how much better its cache is or how fast its bandwidth is.

So yeah maybe ESRAM wasn't that good to begin with for the engine and they have to rewrite for it.
