Ahead of this summer's launch, Activision layed off up to 40 employees at High Moon Studios. They made the Transformers Cybertron games and are working on what I think is the sleeper hit of the year, Deadpool. Sad news!

Activison's movie/TV licensed games are absolute turd. 007 legends, walking dead survival instinct, spidermans, etc have some of the worst uninspired gameplay and graphics I have come across. If they only put the quality they put behind Call of Duty, then we would see some at least decent licensed games from them.

Meh. Studios downsize after they finish work on a game. They signed on with Acti. They knew what this was.

That's a shame.  The Transformers games are pretty good.  I hope those devs manage to find alternative employment soon.

Oh good, just what a new IP Deadpool game needs, layoffs before launch.

Good job Activision. Always ensuring quality.

Activision has been doing this for a while now, sad news either way. Nothing matches the nastiness of them buying out the 'Scratch: Ultimate DJ' devs are closing down the studio prior to DJ Hero's release. Deplorable.

You're all self righteous narcissists ! You wana talk about how evil Activision is but won't even shell out $60 to save those developers jobs. Its good thing Deadpool is half fictional because If he could see whats become of you guys now. . . . .

They don't really put quality behind Call of Duty, either. They just release the same game with new maps and a different skin every year.
