Actually, it's kinda stupid to complain about no rumble in the Six Axis....

...Because other game controller makers will most likely add rumble.  Nyko, Tiger, Pelican, etc.  These companies will be adding wireless Wii-motes, vibration-filled PS3 controllers, and more.  So, in a few more months, we won't have much to complain about.  I think.

Umm... Rumble has to be programmed into the games themselves dude. Unless sony devolpers start adding that in for 3rd parties, its not possible.

I don't mind no rumble, I just think the Sixaxis was pointless altogether.

Some 3rd party controllers also have a tendancy to be stupidly uncomfortable or add other completely un needed features. Hopefully one company can get it right. That company should have been Sony though.

Exactly, and since this is true, 3rd party accessory manufacturers will be hesistant to release rumble-ready controllers when there might not be any games that support this. Basically, PS3 owners can pretty much forget about rumble this gen.

What dev is going to add rumble into the games though? Just because your controller rumbles does not mean the games are going to magically send out info to your controller to make it rumble.

Yep, developers are unlikely to build rumble into games just because of third party controllers.

Haha well this thread ended quickly.  Quite funny actually.

And yeah, I really don't like the lack of rumble in Sixaxis...feeling my hands shake during a massive explosion just seems a lot more exciting.  And plus the Wii has both rumble and motion, so why can't Sixaxis?  *Rhetorical question*

what you fell to realize is that if sony dosent have rumble in their official controller then dev arnt going to add rumble support now i can see that happening but it would be sad you would have to check the game case on the features list to see if it supports rumble just like 2 generations  ago

of course there is always the possibility that third party multi platform games will already have the rumble in the coding.

There is no excuse for Sony to not add rumble. Disappointing if you ask me.
