Well, looks like Newegg.com has the FF 13 360 bundle for only 250 bucks. Thats right, you get a jasper elite in white, 2 controllers, a headset, a 250gb HDD and a copy of FF 13 for only 250 bucks. Honestly, if you dont care about Wifi, this is a hell of a deal and maybe even a better one then the new 300 dollar 360S. However, the new redesign 360 still might be a bit more failure proof then the jaspers, however I think the jasper would be quite fine. plus I believe these still have thrfull 3 year warranty.Plus, if you want your console in white with a 250 gb HDD, this is like your only choice short of buying a Arcade unit and buyinga seperate 250gb HDD. What do you think? Is this a better deal then the new redesign 360? Is it a better deal then a PS3?

I chose it on the 360 over the PS3... Looks great.

There are definately differences though, biggest being in the quality of CG.

No, it came with the game im pretty sure. Not srue about faceplate, I think that was only preorder for the bundle.

I'd prefer a new model with Wi-Fi and a quieter fan. It also has a good shot at being more reliable, the bar is set pretty low.

Not interested in the game, so it may as well not even exist. 250 is a little much for that.

why can't we have such kinds of deal with the PS3 ??

Although it should be noted the 3 year warranty that only covers RROD/E74 is for the old 360's, not the 360 slim.

I'm not sure what you've heard, but I've never heard anyone say anything bad against New Egg. I've bought a bunch of stuff from them and have never had any problems. They also have some of the best prices on the net, with really fast shipping.

Oh I'm sure some people complain, but those people are usually the kind that complain because they bought something 6 months ago, and just got around to opening it and finding out it doesn't work. Then they fault the company for not honoring a 90 day warranty.

Not at all. Fantastic company. I have never had to deal with their customer service, however in their comments section you have numerous compnent companies scouring for any problems. Oft times they have a post offering advice or stating what is needed in order to get it RMA's. Crazy good.
