Admit it, you want Epic Mickey to be good don't you...

Clever and creative puzzles with replayability combined with consiquences for your actions and old and forgotten Disney characters. A brilliant score and decent graphics. You want to play Disney Epic Mickey because you know that Warren Spector makes great games like Deus Ex and hopefully this. Like Deus Ex I think that Disney Epic Mickey will get a cult status following and like Deus Ex, despite it's few faults the originality and creativity of the game will live on long after the initial release.

I always wanted it to be good. Hopefully i'm gonna be buying it in the next few weeks.

kinda off topic any chance for this going ported to PS3 and use PsMove??..game looks intresting and does remind me of Kingdom Hearts, sadly dont have a wii to play it

i watched the GB Quicklook over the weekend. wasn't that impressed. i think it should be called Mediocre Mickey as it does not look epic at all

I love Disney and Mickey. I want it to be great, let alone good, and I don't even have a Wii.

The problem here though is that it seems to deliver a great atmosphere, but disappointing gameplay.

I have a PC, Wii, 360 and PS3. My GF also has a DS which I bought her last Christmas.

Sometimes it's difficult to get the games I really want :P

Wait what? I was playing this game over a week ago, its still not out yet? Well from what I played, this game will simply be average to most. If you have some interest in all things Disney, then you will love it, but if you're just looking for a great game then look somewhere else.

I want these reports of a bad camera, clunky controls and lack of polish to be untrue... but I know they won't be. Which is quite unfortunate for such an ambitious game.

From what I've seen, it looks awesome. One of the few games that make me regret getting rid of my Wii.

Honestly man, you shouldn't worry. There are plenty of awesome Wii games you are missing out on, but this is not one of them. Unless you just have an obsession for Mickey, you really shouldn't care. The game is simply average. There is the occasional "hey that's pretty cool" moment, but other than that its just a bunch of seen-it-before level designs, puzzles and platforming set ups with some not-so-great controls and obvious camera issues.

I want every game to be AAAA multiplat. dont we all?

It will be good. Most every game is good.

Two things to avoid:

Overhyping yourself, and expecting far too much out of a game.

Paying too much attention to critics.

Do this and I guarantee you start enjoying far more games

I stopped caring about epic mickey when i found out it was wii exclusive.It's kinda depressing seeing the game in its current form after seeing those awesome concept art pics. Wii held another one back with its lack of horse power and right analog stick.MFDOOM1983

The concept art peaked my interest, then I saw the game.

If it was a McGee's Alice style game; perhaps it would have maintained my curiosity.

Unfortunately it does play very average. Seriously you guys, anyone who has seen my posting history here knows I have nothing against the Wii or anything like that. I have no reason to go out of my way bashing this game. But it is not what many seem to be expecting.

I guess all of you will play it soon enough.
