When I first tried it, it seemed like any other call of duty. But the tweaks they added to the game make it feel refreshing. The exoskeleton makes a big difference. What do you think, SW?

I really like Advance Warfare to say the least but it wasn't really my intention to buy the game, it was part of the Xbox One Advance Warfare bundle edition and all I really wanted from that bundle was that 1TB which that bundle was only $349 dollars but still, it was okay, just nothing to brag about it.
It's OK, but it could be much better. I mean if you have money for Kevin Spacey, then why resign oneself to this cliched and super predictive story they came up with. It would be such a great twist and moral dilemma, if the main character actually sided with Kevin Spacey. That would a hell of a story. Instead of their usual nobody should attack the US, as we are the most peaceful country in the world and save puppies BULLSHIT.
Yeah I thought it was fun. Haven't played a Call of Duty game's campaign since Modern Warfare 2 though.
Absolutely not.
I don't need a video review. I have the game.
this review is more of a laugh at MW and the people who keep saying "this cod is so much better than the last couple" and the "best cod in years" when in reality its the exact same trash but WITH Kevin Spacey cuz you want Kevin Spacey in your video games.
Its very much a one-trick pony. And once you get tired of that trick its the same old shit.
Honestly Titanfall was a lot better.
It's better than I expected, but could be way better. It's a predictable tightly scripted FPS that relies heavily on QTEs at almost every major story point and has superhuman abilities sprinkled in. The SP campaign is super short, story is just standard fare, too much deliberate pacing/restrictions on exploration, and the exo abilities while pretty cool seem too restricted.
Well compared to the shit that was ghost, anything looks good
you can polish a turd, and it'll still be a turd.
Absolutely not.

they're really not that similar at all. from the score streaks, to the modes, to exosuit abilities.
single player was really fun. mp is still plagued with campers...at this point in time, the devs dont know how to make the game fast anymore. they keep catering to ppl who camp or defend 2 hallway.
they nerf smg's and silencers, nerf and break up perks rushers use to their advantage to slay or flank....
cod is the best when smg's rule mp.
Sadly: expectations are so low; gamers so conditioned that a smelly piece of cow pat resembling Kevin Spaceys receding hairline would be praised.
Absolutely not.

silversix has a habit of talking a lot of shit about games he's never played.
I thought the campaign was solid except for a few parts, and the last couple missions were pretty hype. Can't really say much about the multiplayer myself, I'm not sure if I still need to get used to it or if it's just not for me and I won't eventually enjoy it.
As a refreshment in the franchise, it's okay. But Activision will never get another Modern Warfare-like CoD again. They still recycle a bunch of animations seen from the very first CoD, and environment is still ridiculously indestructible.
Exosuit didn't bring nothing new. Crysis Nanosuit has very similar abilities.
i played COD AW waaay before it was released...
but back then it had a different name, Titanfall.
I know what you mean. This whole "sticking to walls" and jumping around like Spider-Man needs to stop. I got enough of that crap during my TFC and UT days.
Feet on the fucking ground. Thanks.

It's not really like that in AW. You get double jump, and dash (which I don't think is in TF?), but other than that, you're on the ground.

Dash wasn't in Team Fortress, but bunny hopping was. Add "conc jumping" into the mix... yeah, I'm done with that crap.
If you wanna get to the top floor, take the freaking stairs. :P
You're probably right, though, I'm relying on gameplay videos here...
@hernandezzzz: the one thing that annoys me is you can't get too high up on the buildings. You gotta take what they give you
I think its fun. Is it evolutionary? Of course not, but they at least tried to make some changes to a game that quite frankly, needed some changing. Its hard to try to do something different with a product that works, sure I will get flak for saying that, but its a game that has become a tradition to some people. There are groups of friends who love the game and enjoy playing together and they look forward to it. I on the other hand find it becoming less enjoyable as time progresses, but I still play it and have some fun while do so. Its a first person shooter that varies in different time periods from iteration to iteration, while keeping the same overall formula. The way it is now is why people jumped on it and made it one of the best selling games of all time. At the end of the day its a first person shooter, expecting drastic leaps in this genre is like expecting to find Jimmy Hoffa.
