this thread made me realize that Rare has a bunch of great franchises. They should make new installments of:Yes Sir..
Perfect Dark
Killer Instinct
Banjo
Conker
KameojRocka
Been thinking about this and you know, it's been two gens since the last Banjo and back on the N64 - the visuals were awesome!
Can you imagine the sights, flying high around even larger more visually stunning levels then when we last played the original on the N64.
And yeah Rare could really have a nice line up in a few years on 360, heck it's pretty dam good now.
I'm hyped - can you tell ! :)

Thats something that I liked about it (and most Rare N64 games). Some parts are insanley hard in JFG, like when you have to find every one of those koala things to progress though the story. I never got past that bit.
The ending didn't really leave room for a sequel.Sir-Marwin105
But yeah, what has made rare such an awesome developer is that they have made AAA games in so many genres.... Man I want a sequel to pretty much all their games!
Can't wait for Banjo 3. :)
A new Conker title would be awesome. Conkers bad Fur day on the N64 is easily one of my favorite titles of all time. Conkers live and reloaded had awesome multiplayer. A new story + new multiplayer would make for an awesome new Conker title.
[QUOTE="Tsug_Ze_Wind"]First let's focus on not ruining Banjo, shall we?

I wouldn't put it that harsh. But I do miss the old rare.
I would. Rare was godlike on the N64, so they have high expectations that they haven't met since.
It says something that Conker: L&R is both my most disappointing game and a game I play to this day. "Good" or even "great" won't cut it for a true sequel.

Me either. To be honest I think it was just an ingenious way to extend the value of the game by having replayable levels and alternate routes. Rare was good at that. And the bosses were pretty awesome too. Please Log In to post.
