Yea I really enjoyed NG Sigma alot but the truth is what NG sorley lacked was an in depth story. NG didnt really have that and it hurt the enjoyment for me. HS story is sick and its CG cutscenes are beautiful with expressive faces. You also get variation in combat by using cannons and her catlike friend.
I am sure you probably made this thread to try and bash HS but in reality you probably havnt played it so your just spitting fanboy babble. NG is a good game but I am enjoying HS so much more then I enjoyed NG and its very much because of the story.

Tell me about it. It took me over a month to actually finish playing Ninja Gaiden black my first time through since I kept giving up over and over again, but eventually I nailed it. XD. and the fun thing was that even after beatingthe gameI kept going back to for more and more and more....It's been over two years since I played it...I might get it out and play it all over again now :lol:
I havn't played heavenly sword but i have played GOW 1 + 2, NG battle system > GOW by miles, does it play like gow? you know, press up and sqaure to hit the guy that is up, press down and square to hit the one that is down ect? square square square roll jump sqaure roll block meh? or is it like ninja gaidens slash slash up slahs down roll block counter jump super stab head jump pwnt enemy behind with flying matrix cut thing roll pwnt kick punch combo madness?
Heavenly Sword would be a cakewalk for me. The last time I finished NG:Black, the completion time was 8 hours and 40-some minutes. Of course, I've played through NG and NG:Black over 10 times.

You should. That game has held up beautifully throughout the years. I just started playing Black again after those NG2 screens came out and got me in the mood for some beautiful ninja fighting action. I challenge anyone to name a game with a more rewarding level of difficulty than NG: Black. When you kick ass in that game, it's basically all you, and you can't say that for very many games.

I've heard Sigma is easier than Black, but Black was still a difficult game by any standard.
i mainly just don't like the dynamics of the game.. i have a harder time trying to do stuff then fighting the actual enemies and bosses. like the wall climb and other irritating things they make you do.
