Honeslty, I showed my mom the trailer and she thought it was real life.
The only way MS can possibly hype up games post-KZSF is by recording real live action scenes in Hollywood and pretend it's in-game.

Your mom probably also calls all gaming consoles a Nintendo and would think Socom 2 looks like real life.

1. I'm not insulting your mom. This is typical of just about any mom. Using your moms reaction as evidence is embarrassing. I cant tell you how many times I've seen peoples parents say "wow that looks so real!" looking at any pos game.
2. I play more PS3 than anything else. I don't even own a MS platform.
3. Grow a pair.

/thread.Your mom is dumb
And I would prefer if games kept everything in engine and didn't do CG cutscenes to keep it consistent
What is your mom's vision? Also take her to LensCrafters if she thought that was real life.
edit- Your mom is your source, sounds like a typical Sony fan.

CGI still looks far better than the most impressive-looking games. Even CGI from ten years ago.[QUOTE="seanmcloughlin"]

CGI still looks far better than the most impressive-looking games. Even CGI from ten years ago.Yes it does, it walks all over in game visuals. That's a no brainer. That's not what I'm saying
I'm saying that having in engine cutscenes might not be as visually stunning but it keeps the game consistent and immersive. For some games like Diablo CG cutscenes work but for most games I like in engine stuff better. We're at a point in technology where we shouldn't need to rely on cutscenes as much

CGI should be less common for games in general nowadays. You'd have thought after 3 terrible games people would've gave up on borezone lolRR360DDRight, I thought GG would do a new IP after that crap that Killzone 3 was. A four hour campaign? Seriously?

CGI should be less common for games in general nowadays. Not all games. Blizzard games must have CGI. It's mandatory. It's pretty close to Warcraft 3 CG, to be fair. But next to Diablo 3/ Any modern CG it's pathetic.Meh, by CG standards the visusls in KZSF are pretty poor. We's still decades from real-time CG.
