After much thought, I've decided: 360>Wii>PS3

The 360 is a great system and I hope it goes down as one of the better consoles in the game industry's history. Reasons why I believe that 360 is a better system than the other 2:

1.) There are good games coming out EVERY month for the 360. It was a bit slow out the gate but now it's just insane. Every month I can think of a new game that is worth spending money on, whether it's from arcade or it's an expansion or otherwise. Sorry but my Wii is starting to collect dust because it still only has 2 really good games out right now, Zelda and Paper Mario, and a bunch of VC games that I've beaten 10 years ago. As for PS3, don't need to go there.

2.) Wii has a cool controller but in reality Nintendo first party games are going to use it the best while other games probably won't. Expect Metroid, Mario, Zelda, etc. to be good, but in reality the Wii is not good at handling "real" games like the other systems because of it's controller and it's horsepower. You'll never see a Halo 3 or Mass Effect caliber game on the Wii. This doesn't mean the Wii is a bad system, it just means that it's more catered to casual gamers. As for PS3, I'm still waiting to see a reason besides Blu-Ray (I'll give the Sony boys that one, Blu-Ray is pretty sweet)

3.) Xbox Live is amazing. I've downloaded movies, TV shows, demos, arcade games, and played tons of hours on multiplayer. It costs money because it's a stable service and it's very well maintained. PSN is SO cheesy, yeah it's free but that doesn't say much when you compare it to Live. Wii will never have decent online except for SSBB and the various channel stuff.

4.) The future lineup is incredible. DMC4, GTAIV, Halo 3, Rock Band, Mass Effect, Blue Dragon, Lost Oddyssee, Forza 2, Fable 2, Bioshock, Half-Life 2 Orange, it's just great. I feel like I always have something to look forward to on 360. The other systems I feel like I have to sit around and wait until something good comes out.

Those are my big reasons. Feel free to criticize.

Its your opinion. Everybody is entitled to their opinion on which console they like better. I disagree with you but then I would have to write an essay long answer as to why the ps3 will in the end out-perform its competition. And i dont want to go there... you wouldnt either...

anyways have fun with your 360. hope it treats you well. well enough so you dont have to get it repaired next month. lol jk.

1) Just like the PC considering its leading the way for AAA titles for the year.

2) Halo 3 and Mass Effect will be on PC. Blu-Ray is already on the PC.

3) Everything you described is just like the PC.

4) Half your list are PC ports or PC/360 multiplats and the PC still gets more AAA exclusives every year than any other system.

Im happy to have helped you refine your thoughts using your own arguments and logic to prove PC > 360 > Wii > PS.

1. List all the great AAA titles still coming out that aren't RTS.  What Spore and Crysis?

2. Halo 3 coming to PC?  Not anytime soon you guys are still waiting on Halo 2 not to mention Halo 1 sucked on PC.  Have fun waiting on Mass Effect also.

4. PC major party titles are getting farther and farther away due to poor sales of games for PC.  Look at Epics lastest comments and look at the measley 1 Billiion in game sales a year.  MMORPG games like World of Warcraft are the only thing really keeping PC gaming kicking right now.  PC gaming needs a kick in the rear and PC gamers should get behind Microsoft for that push IMO.

2) The wait for Lemmings and Cows to get FEAR must have been absolutely horrible. Im sure they couldn't stand waiting for it. But hey, im sure they were crying when every PC gamer told them "enjoy the wait for FEAR" 2 years ago.

4) And yet its still pumping more AAA exclusives than other platforms. You'd think a there would be less for a platform thats falling from "poor sales."

You like repeating yourself don't you?  Plus you couldn't answer my quesiton except post the same thing as before.   I don't care if PC gets a million RTS AAA games by no name developers, it's not my cup of tea.  Plus I don't remember anyone ever claiming FEAR was coming to consoles immediately.  Even when it was ported over not many were hyping it due to it being an old game.

I can speak on behalf of clear trends, and thats shown the PC always leading for AAA exclusives and theres no signs showing of it being different. For example, last year the PC was the only system to have a AAA racing game (exclusive too). You want a list of promising titles, you can do the sorting yourself here with this thread.

Hmmm...well, i disagree with there "not many were hyping it." Quite alot of lemmings were trying to claim ownage on the PS3 version when screenshots were first released for both consoles, and of threads were made by lemmings when it was announced. In any case, playing the "have fun waiting card" is pretty weak since its happened to every system and im sure those that were waiting were crying themselves to sleep every night for it. Or are lemmings planning to commit suicide because they are never going to get Crysis? I doubt it.

Well I can tell as of this year only two RTS games (one which is coming to 360) and an expansion game have been rated AAA on Gamespot.  As for the FEAR comparison to PS3 that wasn't because the game was so great.  Most compared it just to see how the two systems stacked up.  Even then most argued it wasn't a good comparison since the game was a two year old port.  Crysis?  Lemmings have great FPS shooters already and getting more this year.  I doubt many care when/if Crysis comes.

Its hilarious that after PS3 and 360 are so so similar, That even tho 360 you ranked first you ranked ps3 in behind wii.

If you like 360 the most then of course you'd prefer ps3 over wii also

The two games you mentions Zelda and Paper mario are for the casual gamer? I don't think so man, Zelda is a hard game. Trama center gets very challanging and it is way fun.

Trauma Center is brutal even on easy no lie. I doubt any 360 player could handle it.
