I predict Halo ODST and Gran Turismo 5 may very well flop.

but i hope they don't. plus i don't think Scribblenauts is a flop. if what constitutes a flop are what the critics have to say. then Transformers 2 (the movie) was the biggest flop ever.

I take critics reviews, not so much with a grain of salt, but as someone's opinion.

Everyone has a game they love that didn't score well or sell well, either here on GS or on another website, or with another gamer.

whoever is hyping halo odst and gt5 to be a 9+/10 is crazy.

halo odst is going to be a major flop! and gt5 will be a flop. I have gt, gt2, gt3, gt4 and im considering gt5 as a pass and wait for gt6. 4 years in the making and so far ive only noticed improved graphics, online and 16 cars. They left out most important things and what fans crave for, those are improved AI, physics, infinite customization and tuning, and all cars with damage. sure they will have 15% of their car collection with damage. but i see it as 85% of cars with no damage as a flaw. ive been wanting a gt game with "all cars" with damage since nfs hot pursuit, they had exterior damage and damage that effects your car performance. come on this is the 5th game of the series. wtf polyphony! by now i would have thought you guys perfected the racing sim game, you are letting fans down! (im not surprised why some people transferred to forza series because they have given what fans want!)

as for alan wake, i dont really give a damn if it flops or not

uncharted 2 is only one looking good and deserves all the hype with 9+/10 score. and i cant wait to get my hands on this when i get my ps3

...there is no excuse for that, its simply...,simply, unprofessional and sloppy, either you have damage models or you dont, that alone is a major turn off, who knows what other compromises they have made with GT5, it DESERVES to flop....dont bite off more than you can chew...a well deserved flop right there, even cows know it deep inside if they are truthful to themselves,

Where is dragno age origins. That game looks like utter trash and is hyped AAA. Someone needs to call out that game fast. Also swithc alan wake with forza 3. :(.

I think ODST has the potenial to flop, but it has cool features like firefight that might let it hold the hype. Its just the whole same old halo gameplay that would bring it down to a flop. Uncharted 2 is getting 9.0 or higher, no questions asked. GT5 could definatly flop, but with all the crap PD is throwing in the game i think it just might make its hype. As for alan wake i really wish it to do good, but it has changed so much that i dont even care for the game anymore and i really dont have faith in it doing to well.

I think we should decide on the names for these possible flops. Gran Tuflopo 5 Halo ODSFLOP Uncharted 2: Among Flops And of course more recently Scribbleflops (All in good fun folks.) Alan Wake is 2010 why even list it?Bread_or_Decide

I can't see how Uncharted 2 could possibly get below 9.0. It easily deserves a 9.5. As for ODST, it's had 2 sub 7/10 reviews so far and the other two...well nobody can guess about the other two.
