wow i cannot believe that this game got this high. especially after seeing IGNs review. then again, Gamespot doesn't exactly have the best track record for being correct on reviews. Assassins Creed: 9.0? Ratchet and Clank: 7.5? Gears of War: 9.6? TOTAL_DEFENSE_0

The story is...really superficial, but everything else is amazing, from boss battles to characters.

Geow was only good in co-op. the multiplayer was garbage and the single player was inssufferable. The only reason it got the scores it did is because the American videogame media is so prone to hype

saints row silly?, you try to bash it as hard as you can, okay a wannabee gangster is seen by the 3rd street saints, and is asked to join. his main mission is to take over stillwater, to do that he has to take out gangs. so you progress by fighting each gang, and each gang member has a boss. then as soon as you know it you take over stillwater, but a very cliffhanging ending. yes its a very silly story :(

Once you get past the nice graphics and ok gameplay, there's pretty much nothing. Lack of weapons, levels were meh. Pretty much a race to see who can get the sniper rifle or the sticky grenades first, and once someone gets either one, you're at a serious disadvantage. Host advantages, lag, etc. It just wasn't that fun and got boring real fast for me.

i disagree with you i find the mp fun still to these days. gears of war was #2 most played game online in 2007 while halo 3 came 1st and cod4 came in 3rd.

I just didn't find the almighty cover system to be that great. It wasn't new to me. It was a mix of the cover system used in Operation Winback (from the N64) and Killswitch...
