After seeing this, 360/PS3 look like the SNES

This card is so strong, over 5x more powerful than the 8 series which were already many times more stronger than any console.

Now its time for PC to move light years ahead in games. Making 360/PS3 look like the SNES.

Numerous sites say these cards, run Crysis Very High 60FPS with AA!!!

Ok and what will it cost? A gazillion dollars? :P

Graphics matter, but they don't make a game.

I'd rather know more about the gameplay awesomeness that is in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky and Warhammer 40, 000: Dawn of War 2 than how many frames that video card can put out in a second on Crysis max settings @ DX10.

Remember: A game with crap graphics and good gameplay reaches the status of good game, whereas a game wtih good graphics and crap gameplay is a crap game, period.

aren't those types of cards for people who use things like CAD extensively, or people who rely heavily on graphics cards when they're designing.

How does the picture of a graphics card make 360/PS3 games look bad, let alone look like SNES games ? :lol:

One of the points of the console is to lower the cost for a high end gaming machine. Frankly, if you can afford the $600-800 for just the videocard, then you are defeating the purpose of saving cash. Further, these cards you pay so much money for go obsolete in just 6-12 months later & it's not like you get a trade-in upgrade price & you may even have to reinstall your OS if you did trade one in for another.

As others have stated, the game should be fun to play with content, not just pretty graphics for you to run around playing run & gun with. You can stick with consoles for that.

Not exactly. Most PC games are expected to run at much higher res than consoles. Xbox360 is basically the staple of console graphic capabilities and that shares quite a few similarities to PCs. As multipurpose machines PCs do have some inefficiency.
