[QUOTE="iLiveBy2words"]terrible? this gen has been great. there have been so many good games on every console its unbelievable.Age: 19

1. God of War 2
2. Persona 4
3. Persona 3
4. Super Mario Galaxy
5. Ninja Gaiden Sigma
Thoughts: This gen is terrible. My top three games since the gen began are all for PS2 and Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a port of an Xbox game.

Absolutely Awesome!
I loved how all different services are being available for use in Games Consoles, and the way that content can be accessed on demand. Also, the Stiff competition between the 360 and the PS3 is good for all gamers, as developers are always trying to one-up each other, whether in graphics, or features. The PC has also improved immensely, with graphic levels of games such as Crysis being able to look like real-life, at first to non-gamers, while keeping their fans happy.
The Wii provides a fun, local multiplayer experience (Except the Conduit, which also provides a decent online one), and has improved the visage of gaming to the general public. Instead of Jack Thompson's opinion, everyone isfinding out their own.
I am looking forward to Natal and the PSWand, and seeing how they are implemented.

Thoughts-
I don't like it. I don't enjoy how everything is so expensive which is why I've stuck to handhelds and my PC this entire gen. I find the most variety, and the cheapest games on those systems (and the better versions of multiplats on my PC).
I just find no incentive to even save up for any of the systems. There just aren't enough great exclusives I want to warrant a $200-$300 purchase. Maybe one or two games a year, but generally speaking I could just play them at a friend's house if I so cared to do so, which I don't. You can only play so many inferior console shooters (except Halo 3 which is phenomenal).
I do like the Wii though. That'll probably be the only console I end up buying if future titles are good enough to warrant a purchase. I already got a few on my list though such as the Metroid Trilogy, and Little King's Story. The Wii actually has a great amount of variety to it which I like. I just don't really have a tv big enough to play it on.
The handhelds are what really shined brightly this gen. You've got games, you've got variety, and you don't have a ridiculous price tag for games or the systems. However, I do hope the next gen of handhelds shows a push for a better online system though. I have a thing for online gaming. It's an unquenchable thirst, and Socom on the PSP was really bad imo, and so was Mario Kart for the DS. Better online systems, and better online games PLEASE.
Anyways, if next gen goes the same way as this gen I doubt I'll consider the next Xbox, or Playstation yet again. Overpriced accessories, expensive games, and expensive systems just aren't my thing. Not when I can buy a similarly priced PC that has an infinite amount of features more than both of them combined.....

Top 5 games (in no order):
STALKER:Shadow of Chernobyl
Bioshock
Company of Heroes
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Supreme Commander
Thoughts: I like this generation of games. Definitley not my favorite generation, but I'm really enjoying games that've been coming out in these past few years. I don't actually own a console, so I'm not going to pick any favorites there.
The end.
