Agent- ps3 exclusive from *R*.

Many people are excited for this game however Rockstar haven't showed us anything yet, i'm wondering will this be another Red dead redemption, i mean they announced RDR back in 2005 and finally after 5 years it was realesed, do you guys think it will be the same for Agent, and btw crytek showed their game Project kingdoms in a live action trailer, *R* showed us the game in e3 2009 and still no news?

If there's no content available, then what's there to be excited about?

Well considering this is exclusive they probably have a new engine. Unless they turn around and announce it's multiplat (seems likely)

GTA4 was supposed to be a ps3 exclusive but Microsoft paid a huge load of money to Rockstar to prvent that. Rockstar and Sony still had a deal for a exclusive game for the PS3, so Rockstar decided to make a zombie game for the PS3, but Rockstar saw that there were to many zombie games out already so they decided to make AGENT instead.

I'm not particularly excited about it. This gen I liked RDR, but I despised GTA IV. Both had the same controls (basically), but RDR controlled 100x better than GTA IV I thought.

Maybe Agent will also improve, maybe not. If it controls as well as RDR it may be worth playing, but I don't see myself buying another R* game this gen unless the games become more fun over a longer period of time. I could only stomach one playthrough of RDR, and anytime after that, if I thought about replaying it, all I could think was how the story dragged and dragged for the second half/last third of the game.

can almost guarantee the game will go multi platform, and it will be the 4th inferior port from rockstar. (most overated dev and games ever.) terrible terrible games. oh IMO i guess... :P

They still have Max Payne 3 and L.A. Noire to release before they can get serious about Agent, but I'd love some info.

LA Noire was originally a project wholly-funded by SCEA.

Team Bondi's poor management and bad blood between Brendan McNamara and SCEE boss Phil Harrison lead to Sony pulling the plug on funding the game, when SCEE took control of the game.

Rockstar picked up the project. But to avoid having to return the investment Sony had made in LA Noire, which would likely be several tens of millions of dollars, Rockstar agreed to make a PS3 exclusive and that's how Agent came about.

However at this stage Agent is little more than vaporware.
