Ahh i've now been enjoying my PS3 slim for 24-hours thanks Gamestop.

Yeah well it might be coming out in other retailers across the country on Sept 1st but good ol' Gamestop had it yesterday with my Batman Arkham Asylum.

Man is thing system nice, and talk about quiet, you can't even tell when it's on or reading a disc it's virtually silent.

I guess the systems with the slide out trays wouldn't know about that, but hey they supposedly have a better online service, ya' know the one with no HOME and that plays all the same games online but cost owners $50 bucks a year....LOL-LOL-LOL.

I have not been enjoying my PS3 since 01/08. Give it time.

LOL backwards compatibility...who cares, the PS2 is 10 years old, to say i've played every great PS2 game a 100 times is an understatement, so i can assure you i am quite finished with all the PS2 titles. I have yet to be able to play the Red Bull race, it was always closed whenever I went there. I did enjoy the flying saucer game in the main plaza and poker is always a good thing for me.
