Alan Wake WILL look better than uncharted 2

Why must Alan Wake's graphics be better than everything simply due to development time? FFXIII was in development for a long time. . .yet no one puts the requirement on it to have the best graphics ever. What about SC2 or D3? Both have been in development for awhile, and by the time they actually ship will most likely have similar development times as AW. . .do they have the same requirements of having graphics that destroy everything else? I think it's silly to try and force a graphics king requirement on a game simply because it's been in development for longer than 2 - 3 years. We already know what Remedy was doing with that time. The game started out as a sandbox game and it didn't allow them to tell the story efficiently so they had to go in and change the story telling method. If their reason for spending 5 years developing it was "Have the best graphics." You might have a point, however since we know the reason for the delay, I don't understand you trying to force graphics king onto AW.
The name of the thread is Alan Wake WILL look better than Uncharted 2 (considered by critics and gamers alike as the best looking console game today, right up there with Killzone 2). I know the TC was joking, and I was joking along with his post, hence the ":P" emoticon.
The dead give away is "don't tell me how small Remedy is" line, or so I thought.;)
Anyways, I also said I'm getting the game and looking forward to it. Since this is your 7th post here, and you don't know me well, I will just chalk this up to a misunderstanding, since I tend to joke.
Since the TC was joking, I thought I would joke with him.
You could have quoted the TC and said pretty much the same thing, ya know. In any event, quoting the TC would have been a mistake, since he was joking as well.:P
Just for the record, Alan will not look better than Uncharted 2, and it will be a great game. I like Max Payne 1 & 2, and I'm looking forward to this. I don't have high expectations on the graphics at all, however, they look decent to great at times, so that's a plus.

That looks terrible :?Alan Wake should be a really good game. But i don't know about beating UC2 in visuals. Multiplayer visuals. And if you played the game it looks even better.
