Alan Wake Xbox One vs Xbox 360

tl;dw Performance is better on Xbox One, but the crushed blacks can make the game too dark to see.

I've forgotten how good Alan Wake looked back then. It was a pretty good game too.

And the PC version trumps them all.

Yeah it's a good game to have on Xbone.

But if you can, buy the PC version, it can often be found cheap on sale. And you can play it in 1080/60.

Cool, I intend to replay the game at one point because I never went through all the dlc.

I was busy playing Symphony of the night yesterday, first 30 min noticed no performance issues, hopefully the full game is like that.

It's nice to see they're making strides with the backward compatibility and its performance, I wonder when the blacks will be addressed.

I am a huge fan of flops though, especially megaflops. Games that tanked hard like DriveClub, The Order and hell, even Until Dawn keep me moist, even when dropping to the bowels of the review bins. It's all a matter of taste. But I will hold Sony to their history of having some good AAA games, some day. I suspect 2017 or 2018, at the LATEST.

I own all of the ones you listed (released) except Knack and Infamous. We are talking about GOOD AAA games. Games like The Order (63), Knack (54), DriveClub (71), Infamous First Light (73) don't qualify, sadly.

Hoping that GT Sport (which won't be a full fledged GT sadly), UC4 and Detroit all rock our socks though.

Looking forward to playing it again... just waiting for my free code for pre-ordering Quantum Break.

Played it on PC at 2560x1440 maxed out with super sampling at 60fps...... One of the very few games that I actually really enjoyed playing.
