Alan Wake's leaves far inferior to Uncharted 2's

Look closely at these two images...... As you can plainly see, the leaves and grass in Alan Wake pretty much looks like they were made for a PS1 game while Uncharted 2's looks faer more natural and lifelike. I cannot stress enough how important a difference like this is. How can Alan Wake's foliage possibly be anything even remotely impressive when flying aardvarks have at least twelve different ways of turning their noses sideways at it while dancing an irish jig? Hell if I know! Discuss.

Alan Wake has 4X AA and SSAO. It also has a larger draw distance, and has 10000 trees versus 10 plants in uncharted 2.

its not about the leaves, its about the foliage. alan wake has huge open worlds and dynamic volumetric lighting.

I agree. As a big gardener myself, Alan Wake's foliage looks like they are getting too much sunlight and not enough water. I blame it on the dynamic volumetric lighting.

They look 2D to me. Leaves in uncharted 2 look better in motion when the chopper flies over them.
