Looks like Colonial Marines is going to be able to run on any kitchen appliance made after 2010. Yup Yup.

Who would get a console version with these so low requirments?

Made me kinda question how good technically this game will be.. or at least comparing it to games in 2013

That's a pretty big range/step up from minimum to recommended. Is it using DX11 or something?

i don't see the joke :s, for the looks of it you don't need that monster high end rig to run the game..which is pretty good optimization and with even better specs than the require ones the game can run much better.Tessellation

Some people just prefer consoles.

There's still a bunch of rationales people could express.

I understand your angle, but, somewhere (probably) between the minimum and the recommended requirements there's that threshold where the 'graphics' would look better on the PC. Even if someone's machine is on the 'better' side of this threshold, it's hardly the reason for someone to swap over.

I'm not getting this game, but if I was I would get it on PS3 because I enjoy playing on it more than I do my PC. I don't care about having a bit better performance or visual detail, I find PC fanboys tend to overexaggerate the graphics.

I don't care if you belive me or not, I'm not in the business of trying to prove anything to internet trolls. I have been playing Diablo 3 and Mine Craft on my PC everyday for the past 2 weeks.

I get more enjoyment out of my PS3 than I do my PC, for example playing on my HD TV. While it is true that you can also do this with PC, I play with a rig and my lap top is strictly for work and school, it's a bit of hassle for me to set up. With consoles I can just turn on and play. Another aspect is controller prefernce, aside from RTS games, I prefer console controllers. And a problem I often have with using a 360 controller on PC is input lag.

I have Oblivion for my PC and yes it does have much better graphics than the console versions, however that is because the game has been out for so long and there have been mod overhauls and max settings you can really crank up. But in terms of just the vanilla version there isn't much of a difference, this is something PC fanboys don't talk about. In order to really see the benefits of a PC game you have to wait a while and make sure your PC is strong enough to do it.

As I said it depends. If you have the vanilla version of game you won't see much of a difference, here is an example:

Now if you add in mods that are released later and run it with higher settings after new upgrades are released, you start to see a difference:

I got it over at Greenman Gaming for $35.50 the other day.

Pretty sad specs... Hope it supports DX11 and alot of graphics features.

Gonna play some co-op. All I really want the game for and to see what happens after Aliens.

As I said, it doesn't happen with every game, but certain ones I have had issues with.
