Alienware is for the Elite

Not only are Alienware computers much more powerful than hermit's rigs(according to steam hardware survey) but they are also compact and modern in design unlike the gigantic rigs that hermits have.

So can we all agree that Alienwares are superior to non pre-built PCs?

Alienware is pre-built so this is a stupid thread.

I like Alienware case designs, but everything inside the case you can buy cheaper from Newegg or Amazon.

In other words, there's no reason to buy from Alienware unless you like staring at your PC case when your not staring at your PC monitor.

Alienware are the Seahawks of PCs. Yea, looks nice on paper but never going to be the best.

If you're gonna go pre-built (which I would never do as putting together a rig gives you that same Christmasy feel), I would at least go with Digital Storm. They're the only company that gives you a real incentive to go pre-built, as nothing on the pc component market compares to their cooling systems, which are fucking insane.

Well, If you still need to have your hand held to cross the street...Sure. It's GREAT!

But, if you have a half a brain in your head and can follow instructions or can cook a meal for yourself without help then you could probably do a fuckton better with your cash.

Alienware hasn't been itself for years anyway, they are basically Dell computers in fancy cases.

No, it's for people who can't build a own PC or have money to burn. Many PC gamer's on this board will gladly show you setups that are more powerful than a high end Alienware at much less price.

Alienware price gouging is ridiculous. I just checked their site. It is depressing to think people actually buy these products.

Oh god their X51 model pricing is horrible.700 dollars for an I3 processor, GTX 645 with 1GB GDDR5, 6 gb of ram, and a horrible psu/mb.

Alienware is a joke. They are just re-branded Dell computers in ugly-ass cases. They are nicely compact, I'll give them that, but that's really where the advantages end. They are comparatively weak to other systems in the same price range. Besides, any "real" hermit would build their own PC, not overpay for a sub par, tacky looking sub branded console-esque PC.
