All Bioware RPGs have been mediocre since they moved to Xbox

KOTOR, Jade Empire, Mass Effect... These games were all highly mediocre. It's sad that Bioware left PC and decided to develop for Xbox because they no longer make masterpieces like Baldur's Gate...

I agree Jade empire was kinda boring, a bad fable clone in my opinion ( and I don't consider fable good ).

Kotor was awsome, it's pretty much the last good rpg from them, for me, but I have great hope with Dragon age.

I did not like Jade Empire at all when it first released but I recently played through it again and that game got a bad rap.

It is to bad, it was definitely a break from the normal.

Bioware games have not gotten worse, they have remained the same im quality imo. Ive played Baulders Gate and Neverwinter Nights, they are both awesome but imo KOTOR is better than both of them. Jade Empire has been the worst Bioware game ive played, but it was still very good and Mass Effect is right up there with Neverwinter Nights KOTOR and Baulders Gate.

You either haven't played any of those games or you're nuts. KOTOR and Jade Empire also came out on the PC. These games were excellent on both platforms. Bioware can do no wrong. I'm looking forward to their MMORPG game in the future. Bioware is still making PC games. When did they stop? :roll:

They have nothing to do at all with Bioware's RPGs on PC.

BioWare's console RPGs, while not as amazing as BG2, are far from "mediocre". With their own IPs, BioWare has been able to take their own desired creative direction, and have been trying some new things. While I agree that JE and ME were not as good as BG2, they let BioWare experiment with some new styles and RPG components.

Also, don't think that BioWare has abandoned the PC. Dragon Age is being considered a spiritual successor to BG, and is coming out either this year or next.

I thought ME was pretty good and KOTOR was downright amazing.

Lemmings can keep the crappy KOTOR ripoff known as mass effect, the good Bioware games will be on other systems

The fact that it's higher rated than BGII should make reviews suspect. While I loved KotOR, it's not half the game BGII was.
