All new Call of Duty in '09, Lich King confirmed for Q4 '08

Good to hear Infinity Ward is making another Call of Duty,but I guess we already knew that. Also all you WoW fans Lich King is confirmed for 08,most likely November?

well i loved cod2 then i loved cod3(which i thought was overall better than cod2) ...cod4 is amazing....and cod5 looks very promising

cod3 was not crappy

if CoD starts crapping out games every year the progression will be minimal, they took the time tweaking CoD4 into the masterpiece it is today, and that's only because they took those few years to finish the game.

you don't see other major developers release games from it's major franchise every year? if infinity ward does poop one out every year.. CoD will remain a legacy.

well i agree it was a wierd choice......i feel like cod5 is gonna explore some nice territory.....MOH completely failed at their attempt at creating the pacific theatre so i feel like this game will finally do it justice......plus im glad that they're leaving modern combat to the experts at infinity ward(or atleast i hope its gonna be modern lol)

How can you say that? It already has,there's been a new one every year since 2005 and it's not stopping anytime soon. Atleast every second one is ok.

BTW, I found out that Treyarch got to work on COD5 for two years by a preview by the Official Xbox Magazine.

What's annoying is that the next bunch of IW games are just gonna be rehashes of the modern combat theme.

IE: every installement will have upgraded weapons and a different take on the same war etc...

Then when they've rehashed modern warfare to hell and back,they'll move on,and then Treyarch will start making modern games!
