Doomguy, duh.
I'd like all the Final Fantasy nerds, all the Halo fratboys, and all the MGS lovers to answer this:
Could Cloud, Master Chief, or Snake fight through Hell itself, all while being tormented by a physical incarnation of Satan, and not only save the entire earth from demons, but kick so much ass, Hell itself HAS NO CHOICE BUT TO RESSURECT YOU BECAUSE YOU KICKED HIS ASS.
How many heroes can do it without have a big scene about how their girlfriend died. How long did that wussy Cloud stay emofied because Aeries died? How many people had to help Chief win against the Covenant? How many times did Snake fight demons?
Doomguy took everyone around him dying horribly and just kept going. Even when his precious rabbit died, all he did was clench his teeth, and instead of weeping about it for 2 disks of an 80 hour long game, he got right back up, and started killing demons. Then, he went to Hell and handed Satan his own butthole on a silver platter.
Doomguy would kick every expected answer's ass over and over again, just for looking at him. I have no doubt that after Doomguy ruined Hell, he personally found Satan and beat him to death with his undoubtedly huge wang, after which he went surfing on lava with it.
