ummmmmmmm NO. The metal gear solid series ha always been bigger then the silent hill franchise, and msgs is there bread n butter game. Why u think Kojima is working so hard and only focusing all his efforts on MGS4? Because thats his biggest franchise game. :)

I like the Silent Hill series more than Metal Gear, so yeah, to me it's a bigger deal. If Silent Hill 5 is like 2 (with better control, hopefully), it'll be one of the best games this generation. I was really pumped when they announced SH5 for the 360 at E3.
