The graphics are fine on max settings, not great, but more than attractive enough.

They kept them that way so nearly anyone can play. Which is great in my view. My laptop can run it perfectly fine, which means a smooth Diablo 3 on the go.

Simply this. The game is just constant action and fun. Co-op is so solid and the PvP has some potential.

to be honest near all games this gen have been "bland, mindless and dated gameplay" Especially most of the FPS games, or rather any AAA game with almost no exception have been rehashes of what weve seen before. D3 is no better or worse then the rest, it just is what it is. Cant blame it for that really, unless you have to blame for the sake of blaming. That said I have very little interrest in it.

Logically I can see why it is appealing, easy entry, and the lootwhoring is a formidable force in any game.

I agree. Every fricking game in the same genre plays pretty much the same from the outside. Just about every sequel plays pretty much like its predecessor.

Another thing. Blizzard games aren't known for pushing graphics. That's been true for D2 as well. For graphic whores, D3 is the wrong game to get.
